It wasnt necessarily an idea like, We have to alter the ending. It was just sort of new things changed within the movie. We changed it from Gage to Ellie, later obviously Ellie later subconscious this feel that could now have the watchfulness to know whats going upon subsequent to her and to have conversations about it.
