Whether J.J. Abrams takes Kevin Smith's advice, says 'Thanks but no thanks' or tells the higher-ups at Disney that they have a leak remains to be seen, but we have heard that he might tie Episode IX back to the prequels. This would indeed be wild, and it is an awesome theory that totally keeps like Star Wars' tradition of shocking family ties. I'm not certain the specifics of alien biology in a galaxy far, far afield away, for that reason I don't know if a Togruta like Ahsoka could develop offspring that looks like Rey, but they could probably notify it somehow.
